Another World

So this is it, our big moment.

Let's dive right in, and try not to blow it.

Looking at you, I see that it's time,

You take me hand, I close my eyes

I follow you, into the foggy abyss.

Leaning in to your arms.

Begging for your lips.

I hear the distant ringing, pulling my from this night.

Lulling me to wake, leading me from the light.

My eyes flutter open,  the light filters in.

I look to my right side to gaze at my sin.

I do love her, the life that we've built

But every night I go back,

and every morning i'm wrecked with guilt.

Still I hold on tight, clinging to both views

Knowing that during the day

 I have my choice and at night
